The Kringen Lodge has a new neighbor! This past April, Amped School of Music found a new home for making music with the community on the west side of the Kringen Lodge at 125 8th Street North Fargo. Founded in May 2018 by Emily Swedberg, Amped School of Music provides group and private lessons for piano, guitar, violin, ukulele, voice, drums, bass, and digital music. We also host summer camps and other events to bring music to the community.
We are so grateful to be in our new home! Teachers, students, and families have praised the new space, enjoying the spacious rooms, welcoming natural light, and all-around good vibes. With our new location, we are now able to host group lessons and small bands where students can make friends and play music with other people, and families can socialize in our spacious and bright lobby.
We are also excited to start hosting Open Mic at the Troll Lounge on the first Thursdays at 7:30 PM. This all-ages public event is open to music, comedy, poetry, and other shares from the community. The Open Mic pairs perfectly with our mission, as it empowers musicians to perform and grow, connects musicians with each other, and as a community, we can celebrate our artists.
Thank you, Kringen Lodge!
