We meet in the ballroom where there is plenty of room for social distancing! This is not a ‘class’, but an opportunity to paint with others. We are lucky to have very talented folks in our group, who may answer questions. For more info call Alan Pearson at (701) 478-2529.
“As we gather at the Kringen Sons of Norway we all have a reason for being there. Mostly we have some connection, directly or indirectly, to the country of Norway. With this common thread there is interest in our ancestors, their lives and activities. One of these Norwegian cultural arts was that of rosemaling. The development of rosemaling styles was different in each geographic region and the artists from that region therefore leading to a variety of styles. The practice of this art includes the painting of as many of these as possible. The Kringen Lodge has provided the opportunity to gather to commune and paint in the art of rosemaling. The sharing of projects completed and in progress as well as painting opportunities in the area are provided.” – Alan Pearson
