Kringen Library
Open 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday
Our library has a large number of books on the Norwegian language, culture, travel and so much more.
When you come for lunch at the Kringen Kafe, stop in and browse through the collection. Find an interesting book and check it out for your reading pleasure. There are many books by Norwegian mystery writers, regional authors, as well as immigration stories, books about World War II in Norway, etc., etc.
The Library Annex is available for community groups for meetings and classes. The room is equipped with a wall-mounted HD monitor for presentations.

Tronnes-Sand Memorial

The Kringen Heritage Library was made possible through two generous memorial gifts to the lodge by the families of the late Drs. Nils L. Tronnes and Olaf Sand. These two doctors were the founders of the Fargo Clinic and St. Luke’s Hospital.
Drs. Tronnes and Sand were presented the St. Olav Medal First Class for their contributions to preserve and perpetuate Norwegian culture in the area. Kringen Lodge is grateful for all the contributors including books, printing, and materials that have been donated by a number of loyal members.
